The artist
Brandi Mielke
Brandi Mielke is best known for her abstract wildflowers and landscapes. While using different mediums, such as acrylic paint, glitter, and molding pastes, Brandi exhibits the texture and shine of each brush stroke with vibrant colors. The inspiration for her choice of using these brilliant colors, comes from the summers she had worked on Mackinac Island and from her other travels. Brandi has been painting for over 20 years and she resides in Saginaw, Michigan.
Brandi is a graduate of Saginaw Valley State University and her work has been displayed in the University Gallery. She has donated several pieces to various organizations, including Studio 23 and Veteran Car Shows. After gaining some local attention, her work was also published in the Midland Daily Newspaper.
